The Hangng Garden - Kindle has many typos

Am flogging my way through the Hanging Garden, which is a fine read, except for the hundreds of typos. I have the Kindle version, which was obviously the product of a written version being OCR scanned into the version being sold by Kindle. There was no proofreading of the Kindle version before it was released. This is a shame, especially since this book is being sold by a reputable publisher. Anyone noticed similar problems with the Kindle version of Rankin's novels?
