At Christmas I like to settle on the sofa with a good book, and while there’ll be new books to unwrap I also enjoy re-reading some favourites.  These might include Dylan Thomas’s delightful and nostalgic ‘A Child’s Christmas In Wales’, Charles Dickens’ ‘Bleak House’ (a huge immersive story filled with memorable characters), and Muriel Spark’s ‘The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie’ (a short novel that opens up like the inside of the Tardis).
